HOW DO I ORDER?
Hello! Thanks for supporting us. We have a complete web shop with SSL security which can accept paypal and all major cards! Please us the contact us option for any payment or ordering questions and one of our team will be back to you asap.
WHEN WILL MY ORDER ARRIVE?
Our shipping dates are Monday and Tuesday, though sometimes we can accommodate special requests. (Do get in touch) Your order should arrive within 24 hours even using the slower 1st class service.
HOW WILL MY ORDER ARRIVE?
Shipping! We use Royal Mail for the majority of orders, and depending on the value either send 1st class or via their Next Day services.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY ORDER DOESN'T MAKE IT?
In the unfortunate situation that your order runs in to issues with delays, DOA's or doesn't even turn up at all, please get in touch! We'll do everything we can to track it down and in the event it is lost or DOA we will endevour to replace those missing. If for whatever reason we can't, we'll refund.
WHAT DOES SHIPPING COST?
Our shipping rates are very competitive, we only ask £5.50 to ship 1st class or £10 to ship Next Day delivery. This covers not just the service charge but the packaging, box, and tub we ship your bugs in.
DO YOU SELL FOOD?
We do! Get in touch, we might be able to help you out with some substrate for your bugs - just let us know what you need. When we do have some available, we sell it as is - no sterilisation or treatment and chemical free. Please bare in mind your biosecurity when adding anything to the vivarium.
ARE YOU A REAL STORE?
Yes! The Legless Millipede is fully registered in the UK with HMRC. What this means to you is that you can have the confidence and security that any and everything we do is monitored, watched and audited.
We currently do not have a physical store, as the costs to run one simply would not allow us to offer the range we do at the prices we can currently. However if you are in the area and would like to collect please get in touch.

WHAT IF I WANT SOMETHING YOU DON'T HAVE HERE?
Please ask! We have a huge range of things available and not everything ends up on the site as fast as we would like - and some things we only order when preordered too. Use the Contact us option to get in touch.
WHAT ABOUT INTERNATIONAL ORDERS?
Due to the nature of shipping internationally, we can't offer the same arrival promise but of course will do everything in our power to ensure your order arrives. We can ship within the EU and Europe, but sadly cannot ship to the USA or outside the EU in the majority of cases. Please get in touch for shipping costs, as it will vary place by place.
YOU NEED A LOT OF INFO, HOW ARE MY DETAILS STORED?
Full details of how we manage your data can be found in the Privacy Policy Page, but in short: All your payment information is handled by either PayPal or Stripe (Card Payments) and we don't see it or even have any access to it. Both these organisations are FCA registered.
Your address and other personal details are held on a secure WIX server for order processing, and the only printed copy is the one in the box with your order. All customer info is deleted from our records after 1 month, with only a name and what was ordered being held for 6 months to help us offer advice and care info should you need it later.
HOW ARE PAYMENTS PROCESSED?
We can process both card payments and PayPal here through the webstore. The Webstore uses Stripe Payments UK for all card processing and PayPal UK for all other transactions. These are both FCA regulated and your details are held securely on their servers, not ours. Once payment is finalised you are transferred back to the Webstore where the order is completed and Stripe/PayPal collate all payments to us after their fees (Which aren't passed on to you!)
